Flato ("we", "our", or "us") is a society management platform built and operated in India. We provide digital tools for residential societies, RWAs, and apartment communities to manage maintenance billing, visitor management, complaints, facility bookings, and community communications.
Our platform is accessible at goflato.com and through our mobile applications on Android and iOS.

What Data We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform. Here's a clear breakdown:

- Announcements — sending notices, alerts, and community updates to residents
- Account Management — verifying identity, managing roles and permissions
- Security & Audit — maintaining logs of all actions for accountability and dispute resolution
- Platform Improvement — using anonymised usage data to improve features

All data collected through Flato is stored and processed exclusively within India.

Data Sharing
- Within your society — data visible to your RWA committee is restricted by role-based access controls. Guards see only visitor data. Treasurers see financial data. Residents see only their own data.
- Payment processors — when you pay via UPI or card, your transaction is processed by the payment gateway (e.g., Razorpay). We do not store card numbers or UPI credentials.
- Service providers — we use a third services like SMS and email.
